Couple both working for the railways each earning 30k each now complaining they cant live on that ! or take a holiday or feed the kids - my heart bleeds for them.

Don't forgot cut price rail travel for all the family thrown in on top .

Selfish & greedy in thinking they are the only working place in the UK that doesn't have to change with the times.

Not true. The private sector is just fine. The public finances are absolutely shredded. For obvious reasons. But since no one in the media is bothering to say why and performing all sorts of mental gymnastics on that point , they're shredded because we just locked down and gave away an absolute shitpile of free money for two years. Whilst I have a modicum of sympathy for their pay status generally, in the case of nurses, asking for a 19% pay rise at this time is patently absurd and completely out of order.

Of course, you won't find the BBC and others making this blindingly obvious point, because if it were up to them we would have been locked down for longer, harder and the situation would be even worse. Which is also why Starmer and Labour are generally (in fairness cleverly) silent on the whole situation

The number of people dying would have been so much less because Corbs would have personally saved them. Being in or out of the EU doesnt seem to have made any difference in pandemic numbers to be fair.

If Corbyn was in charge we would still be in the EU , which would have meant we would have received less vaccine, which would have resulted in more deaths, unless Diane Abbott was in charge of the figures.

OGS, I have been a shop steward so if anyone knows how unions work it’s me , when a shadow government stops supporting and taking donations from unions I will consider voting for them.

But I agree with you one hundred per cent that voters should have a good think about the kind of UK they want next time around.
It’s not as if this will be a redistributive Labour government anyway, given the ‘tough on the unions’ stance of Keir Starmer and the ‘let’s think seriously about privatising the NHS’ stance of Wes Streeting, the Shadow Health minister.

I recon if Corbs had been in charge the same number of people would have died. Certainly over time. I dont think there would have been multi million pound bungs and fraud though. Sure, stupid lock downs and wasteful support for face mask wankers and lazy middle class SAH fuckers.

OGS , do you know the wages that train drivers are on ? , these strikes are affecting the low wage employees which are trying to make ends meet in this global situation which is caused by the war in the Russians and COVID. Just think what state we would have been in and the lack of covid vaccine and extra deaths in Corbyn had been in charge during COVID
